Facilitator

Dr. Reinier de Man, an independent consultant with long experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder processes, facilitated various REP meetings.

Funding

During 2006-2007, REP was financed by the Dutch province of Noord Brabant in the framework of the LIFESCAPE - YOUR LANDSCAPE project, which aims at using the landscape to bring people together to create added value and quality of life.
LIFESCAPE is co-funded by the European Union's INTERREG IIIB programme for North West Europe (NWE).

Responsibilities

REP is an informal network, bringing experts on rural development, farmer organisations, government representatives and other stakeholders together. The Executive Committee is responsible for organising activities, raising funds and effective communication. The Advisory Board is advising and guiding the Executive Committee with respect to strategic decisions. A facilitator is responsible for Executive Committee Meetings, Advisory Board Meetings and REP workshops. The starting phase of REP was funded by the Dutch province of Noord Brabant. REP is seeking longer term funding as a stable basis for its activities. A secretariat will be set up as the REP back-office in the near future.
